Core Inventory
Bookstore Manager's RMS Gold and Platinum packages include a means by which
vendors can communicate to stores which products are most crucial to carry.
These are referred to as "CORE" products. As of January 2005, there are over
900 CHRISTIAN retail stores getting monthly updates from us and using RMS for
inventory management. By sending us your core product file, you are
communicating this important information to all those locations.
Please remember that this is a CORE inventory list, and should NOT list
everything you currently have in print. If you need to provide full product
information to us to be included in the Christian Books & More ®
database, please contact us at database@bsmgr.com
or 325-690-5596.
Core title information should be sent in a line sequential ASCII file with the

CPC Christian Product Category
Code. You can find the list of current CPC codes on the CPSG web site
www.cpsg.org.
Bookstore Manager codes each product with a Christian Books & More ®
vendor code. The vendor codes are available on our
web site . If you need help determining your company's code(s),
please contact us at database@bsmgr.com
or 325-690-5596.
Core Level Remember, this file is only your core products. This field further
breaks down the core list by importance.
When ready, please send your CORE inventory file to
Shane@bsmgr.com. The first file will be checked to make sure it is
properly formatted. Once you get the file creation routine working, please do
not change it.
